FIRST BIRTHDAY! NORTHERN VA FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY

I feel so lucky I got to celebrate this gorgeous guy’s first birthday! Mathias was born during the height of covid and his parents missed out on professional newborn photos of him. I wanted to make sure these portraits made up for that!

I love keeping outfits and set up simple and timeless letting all the focus be on your beautiful kids and family. The images of Mathias in this chunky knit sweater might be my favorite. I love how his precious personality shines!

His parents did such a great job styling their family outfits. So crisp, clean, and lovely. It’s so evident Mathias is a loved child. He cuddled, laughed, and made my job capturing their special family so easy and enjoyable. I ended our session with sore cheeks from smiling and laughing the entire time.

We ended his session with a sweet Cake Smash. Mathias loved his cake and I loved my time with this beautiful family! I’m so thankful they chose me as their Northern Va photographer!
