I love when parents come to me with an idea for their newborn photography session and ask that I come up with something special. Baby E was born on St. Patrick’s Day and they wanted a photograph to commemorate that day. Her parents also wanted to capture the feeling of springtime in their images since she was a springtime babe. Flowers, foliage, and soft colors were what they were hoping for. I was more than happy to oblige!
Sweet E was one month old at the time of her newborn session. Mom loved how sweet she looked swaddled up so she asked for a fully swaddled newborn session. As a northern va newborn photographer, there’s nothing a love more than a precious swaddled babe!
Baby E was the prettiest baby and slept so well during her session. I loved that she decided to wake up towards the end so I could capture her beautiful eyes and adorable expressions. Notice the tiny four leaf clovers? My little nod to the special day she was born. She will surely be her parent’s forever good luck charm!
How beautiful is this new family of three?! I love when parents get behind the camera and document this special time. Trust me when I say I know how nerve-racking photography sessions can be. I always want my families feeling comfortable and relaxed knowing they are in good hands. The newborn stage is so fleeting. I promise you it’s worth it to be in photos with your tiny miracle. This session was such a joy and Baby E made my job as a Virginia newborn photographer easy!
